This happy dude who bought a commission from me and was willing to be silly really sums up CAPE! 2008.
Click on his smiling face for my CAPE! 2008 photo collection.

Oooh, and that's a discontinued Scary-Go-Round shirt he's sporting (Robotania, I think?). Hardcore.

(Someday, I will get to Texas. Someday.)

You should add these to the Zeus Comics pool.

My husband is such a dork! I was reading comics under the tree, so I missed this geekiness. I definitely wasn't expecting to see it while scrolling through my flist. Thanks for capturing it for me!

Oh, and thanks for suggesting the book. I finished it on Monday night. It definitely made me think about how I treated my sister in highschool. It actually sparked a conversation about that with her, and we apologized for being crappy siblings to each other when we were younger. :D

Yay! We can see Chynna Clugston drawing Bleu and Clover! We even get a partial glimpse of that shy Texas creature, the rarely seen Triffid Ranch Booth Bunny, wearing a black hat and cowboy vest.

This is the type of comic event I would like to attend. The big cons which I have never been too but from what I've heard do not interest me very much. I live in Florida where big cons happen but I have never been.
