Got Xmas Money? Commission Spots Are Open!

Got some money for Christmas? You wanted a commission before now but didn't have the dosh?

I'M READY! FIVE SLOTS are open for your what-should-I-get-me gifting!

Decide what sort of subject you'd like, and PayPal to divalea @ gmail.com with your wants. Single figures only. (Multiple figures negotiable!)
Thanks in advance for your patronage!

Here's what I'm offering:

$15.00: a digital drawing, 5x5, greytones, hi-resolution, suitable for printing.

$25.00: a digital drawing, 5x5, color, hi-resolution, suitable for printing. Like this!

$50.00 (which includes Priority shipping): a 5x8 watercolor, such as below, suitable for hanging and bragging about. Like so:

Christy Marx can vouch for the in-person awesome of my watercolors, since this one is in her collection.

Here's Scarlet Witch and Power Girl, from what looks like will be a series of superheroines looking gorgeous, powerful and happy to be so. These pieces got big ups from Gail Simone and Tom Spurgeon.

Barefoot Power Girl by you.

Paimon and Flora from FLORA SEGUNDA:

A painting like this is going to be a bit more than a 5x8 single figure. Feel free to email with inquiries.

Commissions for dolls can still be made, but they won't be delivered until after the holidays. girlwithoutfear  can attest to their complete awesomeness, she's actually seen and held them. (She was sent home with one of the chairs and music stands from the illustration.)

Here's the latest CISWY piece, again:

CISWY 2 cover FINAL.png by you.

Thanks again for your business!

If you're between money yourselves, passing this along would be most welcome!

Lea, remember that portrait you did three years ago of the Czarina and myself? How much for the ability to put that portrait on handmade T-shirts?
Oct. 18th, 2008 02:09 am (UTC)
$40. I'll have to re-ink it to make it reproduceable.

Sounds like a good deal. I think the Triffid Ranch needs a whole set of shirts for the next CAPE.
Oct. 20th, 2008 10:10 am (UTC)
I think the art would make an AWESOME shirt.

You still interested in mt remaking the Paul/Czarina for a TTR shirt? Please LMK so I can either keep you in or slot someone else.

Sorry. It's been a rough couple of weeks. Where should I send the money, again?

Out of curiosity, are fan-art requests acceptable?

Oh my, that looks like NAN being forced into pencil mode, and not liking it at all. It's amazing the kinds of things meat persons will try to force upon byte persons.
Oct. 18th, 2008 02:26 am (UTC)
It started funny, then Nan just got that Look, and I went with it.

(Your commissions are on deck, too!)
Oct. 18th, 2008 05:32 am (UTC)
My commission too? (Hula gal)
Oct. 20th, 2008 10:11 am (UTC)
Yes, indeed.

Sorry to hear about your car problems. I know how much that sucks. If I wanted to commission multiple things, should I paypal you separately for each then? Or can I do all in one transaction? I love your work and I'm thinking this would be a fantastic holiday present for my sisters.
Oct. 18th, 2008 05:40 pm (UTC)
Just let me know how many and I'll give you an amount. Shoot a note to divalea @ gmail.com

Man, car trouble like that sucks! We went through that the summer of 2007 - had to replace two vehicles in the space of one month, and that was after having to buy a new car only six months before that! Yeah, three cars in one year. And we really couldn't even afford one. I'm still paying ... not fun.

Will you be doing these commissions for a while? I have to see how we are doing (congregation is going to be cutting hubby's pay in half come January and both companies for whom I work have been cutting payroll a lot - I'm lucky to still be working).
Oct. 19th, 2008 08:57 pm (UTC)
Yeah, I'll be at it for a while. Take your time.
Oct. 19th, 2008 06:38 pm (UTC)
Do you remember the panel with you and me that was the first one of a Near Life experience strip? How much would you charge me to re-create it as a commission? I've wanted to get the original art of that for a while, but since it may not be available anymore, if I could get a re-creation of it, I would do it. Hell, would $50 be enough?

$50. would be fine!

(That was a fun ride!)

Hi! I found you via shadesong's helping posts. I've been trying to decide on a Christmas present for someone and this might be just the thing! Do you mind emailing me, just in case she finds you too? I don't want to spoil the surprise by putting the details all here! (I'm considering a watercolour, just to let you know)

The winged kitty is very cool.

I am screened? What ever have I done to offend you?
Oct. 22nd, 2008 08:51 pm (UTC)
No offense, just had some trolls, and decided to head them off.

HI! <3
Dec. 9th, 2008 01:34 am (UTC)
Kind of a complicated question here...

I've got a piece I comissioned from you at a convention a while back, believe it was done in pen and marker. (Well, presumably you know what you take to cons anyway. `.` )

There's another I'd like to have done as a sort of companion piece to that picture, and I'd like them to be done in the same medium. Would that be possible, and if so, how much would it cost?

(Won't be until after christmas though. `.` )
Dec. 12th, 2008 04:03 am (UTC)
Boy, without more to go on, I couldn't even guess what I sold you. Sometimes scans of my work come up and my reaction is, "Fuqwhat?"

But yes, you can commission a companion piece.
Dec. 15th, 2008 07:01 am (UTC)
Luckily, I remembered where I left a scan of it. (Where I left the actual drawing... that I'm not so sure of.)

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us

(My mom thought it was cute when I showed it to her, which doesn't happen very often with anime stuff. ^_^ )

Holy crap, I forgot I did that! That was for Iron Artist at Katsucon, wasn't it?
