One of two fine actors appearing on the cover of "Can I Sit With You?"

Hands aren't painted yet.
Kato polymer clay, twisted wool, repurposed sweater.
Modeled on a girl I knew in middle school whose every piece of clothing clashed.
Pants were a real design challenge.

In honor of Talk Like a Pirate Day, I bring you Curvy Scurvy!
She came about because of a phone conversation between me and metahari. We were cuttin' up, the pirate jokes started, and pretty soon we had a gal with lime bandoliers, a wooden nipple (bar fight), an eyepatch on the other (dare), and a one-eyed snake named Richard Peter

I dig the woodcut-y look of this! I started with defining the shape with a big brush @ 20%, then refining with a darker, thinner brush, then refining and erasing the lines to make the shapes and details.
May color it tomorrow.
Photoshop CS2.

In the second of a two-part interview, Tycho of Penny Arcade talks about the Penny Arcade charity Child's Play, business manager Robert Khoo's feet, and reveals how he and Gabe almost lost Penny Arcade forever.
Considering Jerry/Tycho had PAX just two days after we recorded this, and gave me so much of his time, I want to say, as he says to the PAX crowds, "I don't know how to thank [him] with sufficient intensity."
